Inspiration .......

I often go to various restaurants having paper towel holders on the tables, and I noticed that some paper rolls sometimes had (ketchup, or sauce) stains on top. Those types of stains can easily be seen. But, "What about the germs and bacteria that we don't see, especially since the spread of Covid-19?"  So I thought; “there should be a barrier over the top of the roll of paper towels so that it wouldn't be touched when tearing the paper off.” The simple solution – an innovative device that provides a shield for the top of the roll of paper towels that protects against germs and bacteria from contaminated hands.

It take two hands to remove paper from most paper towel holders i.e., one hand to hold it steady, and the other to pull and remove the paper along the perforated edge. Unless the hand holding the roll is clean and germ free, it will soil the area that is touched and spread germs and bacteria creating the potential to make others sick as well as being unsightly resulting in the potential loss of customers.

This protective cap is easily put in into the center tube of a roll of paper towels and used in most vertical paper towel holders, as well as can be made on to the paper towel holder’s spindle itself.  Just lightly press on the insert to steady the roll while you tear off the paper.
